Smart Energy, Big Money
You may have heard that using renewable energy sources like solar power or wind could save U.S. consumers money. But it's been hard to translate that kind of idea into real dollars and cents—until now. A new report from the Union Of Concerned Scientists found that a 20 percent renewable energy requirement would save U.S.families and businesses at least $49 billion a year in energy bills.
